Associate Advisor in Jamestown, NY

Salary Range: $45K - $58K/year + Bonus Potential

Associate Advisor
(Pay Range: $45K - $58K/year)
Annual Bonus opportunity - up to 5% of base pay

Weinberg Financial Group seeks an Associate Advisor for its Jamestown or Amherst, NY office. The Associate Advisor provides client onboarding support.

Responsibilities
1. Prepare financial plans with supervision from a senior advisor
2. Attend client review meetings as an observer/note-taker
3. Assist with daily management of some client accounts
4. Assemble client reports for annual investment review meetings

Education and Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or other relevant coursework is required, along with:
- Series 65 or 66 License
- Series 7 License (General Securities Representative Exam)
- NY State Life Insurance License
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and organization
- Ability to interact effectively with co-workers, clients and management

Skills/Competencies
The following skills are preferred:
• 2+ years’ experience in the financial industry
• Intermediate level Excel skills
• Working knowledge of the Redtail CRM system
