Assistant Electrician in Amherst, New York

Salary Range: $23.70 / hour

Daemen University is seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Electrician to join our Facility Services team. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across campus buildings while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and safety standards.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma/GED required; vocational certification or associate degree in an electrical field preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the electrical trade
• Knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair
• Valid New York State driver's license required
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, climbing ladders, and responding to campus emergencies
