Position Summary
The Assistant Director of Nursing assists the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department. This leadership role helps direct, coordinate, and supervise clinical staff while ensuring the highest standards of resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff development.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with the management and daily operations of the nursing department.
• Supervise, coordinate, and support clinical staff to ensure quality resident care.
• Monitor staff performance and assist with evaluations, coaching, and counseling as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Promote and protect residents' rights, dignity, privacy, independence, and overall well-being.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and studies designed to enhance resident outcomes.
• Share on-call responsibilities with the Director of Nursing.
• Help ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and standards of care.

Qualifications
• New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Long-term care experience required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills.

Full Time position
Salary range: $80,000-$90,000 (depends on experience), $5,000 sign on bonus!
