Our dynamic veterinary care team is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join us and become a vital part of providing exceptional animal care! In this role, you will assist veterinarians in delivering comprehensive medical services, ensuring the comfort and health of our diverse animal patients. Your expertise will support everything from routine pet care to complex veterinary procedures, fostering a compassionate environment where animals thrive.

Responsibilities Include:
• Start daily appointments for DVM - take history, collect vitals, etc.
• Perform animal restraint and handling using proper fear-free techniques to ensure safety for both patients and staff
• Collect and prepare samples and conduct laboratory tests for diagnosis
• Operate diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines
• Manage animal husbandry tasks including feeding, medicating, and maintaining clean living environments for hospitalized patients
• Assisting in veterinary dental procedures
• Administer medications and injections under veterinarian supervision
• Maintain detailed medical records, update patient charts with treatment progress, and document all procedures accurately
• Support veterinary critical care efforts by monitoring vital signs, providing emergency assistance, and ensuring optimal patient recovery conditions

Qualifications Include:
• Strong understanding of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and laboratory procedures.
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines and lab equipment
• Prior experience preferred however, motivated entry-level candidates with relevant animal care backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Animal restraint skills combined with knowledge of animal catheterization techniques for safe procedures
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team dedicated to outstanding pet care
• Surgical experience is preferred but not required

Hourly Pay Range: $22 - $30, commensurate with experience
