Salary Range: $22.00 - $35.00/hour based on experience

Ridge Overhead Door is a third-generation, family-owned garage door company serving Western New York. We are looking to add a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to our installation and service team.

This is a full-time, hands-on position that includes installing, servicing, and repairing residential and commercial garage doors and operators. Garage door experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person, especially someone with experience in construction, remodeling, carpentry, electrical work, mechanical repair, or another skilled trade.

Responsibilities include:

* Installing residential and commercial garage doors and garage door operators
* Performing service and repair work
* Diagnosing mechanical and operational issues
* Using hand tools and power tools
* Loading, unloading, and handling doors, parts, and equipment
* Driving company vehicles to customer locations throughout Western New York
* Communicating professionally with customers
* Working safely and efficiently as part of a small team

The ideal candidate will:

* Be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
* Be comfortable working with hand and power tools
* Be able to perform physical work, including lifting and working from ladders
* Have a valid driver’s license
* Be comfortable working both independently and with a team
* Have good communication and customer service skills

Previous experience in garage doors, construction, remodeling, carpentry, electrical work, installation, service, or mechanical repair is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.

Compensation:
Starting around $22-$30 per hour, depending on experience, with an opportunity for review after the initial 90-day period.
