Licensed Optician – Private Practice Optometry Office
Part-time: Monday, Thursday and Friday.

We are a patient-focused private optometry practice in East Amherst seeking a professional, personable Licensed Optician to join our team.

Responsibilities include: assisting patients with frame and lens selection, taking accurate measurements, fitting and adjusting eyewear, interpreting prescriptions, verifying finished orders, maintaining optical inventory, and delivering an exceptional patient experience from start to finish.

Qualifications: current New York State Optician License in good standing, strong communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to excellent patient care. Experience with optical sales, lens options, insurance plans, and electronic health records is preferred.
