Salary Range: $18.00 hourly

Mount View Assisted Living is seeking an entry Level Accountant to work with directions and instructions from the Senior Accountant.

The responsibilities of the Accountant include auditing documents and preparing things for annual audits. Also work on annual cost reports, 1099’s and Grants.

Job Duties:
• Reconcile monthly accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Ensure timely payments are made to creditors.
• Audit AP accounts and other documents when necessary.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations.
• Exhibit the highest level of customer service towards staff, residents, and visitors
• Perform all job duties according to safety rules and practices required for the position.

Qualifications:
• Office experience that includes Excel. Experience with QuickBooks Online software.
• Associate’s degree in accounting or relevant degree.
• A strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
