Buyer II in Depew, NY

Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually

PCB Piezotronics, Inc, a global leader in the manufacture of sensors for test and measurement applications, is looking for an experienced Buyer II in our Depew Corporate office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement of materials and services that conform to manufacturing requirements, and managing designated raw materials. Duties include identifying items for cost reduction and negotiation. Additional responsibilities include supplier sourcing, and management.

Candidates must have three to five years experience in a similar position, and should be experienced in a manufacturing setting, familiar with piezoelectric and strain gauged-based technology or a related industry. BS degree in Business, Material Management or Purchasing required. Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills, and excellent negotiation skills. The successful candidate will possess a strong analytical and mechanical aptitude, and excellent computer skills. Knowledge of BSD, MRP, ATEX, and ISO9001 preferred.
