Electronics Technician in Depew, NY

Salary Range: $22–$30 per hour DOE

Aero Instruments & Avionics, Inc., a leader in the commercial aviation repair industry, is seeking an Electronics Technician for its Depew, NY facility.

This role involves testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining avionics components and aircraft electronic instrumentation in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Technicians will use specialized test equipment to diagnose issues, interpret schematics and technical manuals, perform component repairs or replacements using hand tools and soldering irons, and document all repair activity using company software.
Collaboration with engineering and quality teams is also required.

Qualified candidates should have an A.A.S. degree in Electronics or equivalent training, along with experience in electronic or mechanical disassembly/reassembly and soldering.
Strong communication, analytical, and technical skills are essential, as well as professionalism and integrity.
Preferred qualifications include mechanical aptitude, precision soldering, ESD/IPC or CAET certifications, and military aviation maintenance experience, especially Intermediate Level (I-Level) experience.

This full-time position offers first or second shift schedules, Monday through Friday, with pay ranging from $22–$30 per hour depending on experience.
