Responsibilities
• Greet customers and assist with wine and spirit selections based on preference, occasion, and budget
• Provide exceptional, personalized customer service
• Maintain strong knowledge of wines, spirits, regions, producers, and vintages
• Support merchandising, stocking, and inventory management
• Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well-presented
• Assist at registers with manager calls, price overrides, product look-up, and returns
• Operate Point-of-Sale systems efficiently for sales transactions and online order processing
• Answer phone calls and emails to assist customers
• Support in-store tastings, classes, and special events

Qualifications
• Retail sales experience required; wine & spirits retail, hospitality, or fine dining experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of the world’s major wine-producing regions and a strong passion for wine & spirits
• Candidates with WSET or Court of Master Sommeliers credentials will receive special consideration
• Strong customer service skills
• Computer literacy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well-organized with strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work varied retail hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to lift up to 40 lbs.
