These children are supported through Aspire of WNY for developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Summer Teacher Assistants

Responsibilities include assisting teachers and therapists in planning and preparing for the child’s independence, adjustment to new situations and preparation for new areas of learning along with personal hygiene care and meal feeding.

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
NYS Teacher Assistant Certification or equivalent course work.

Rate of pay:
$16.04/hr during orientation and any hours worked outside of the summer program
$17.75/hr during the 6 week program
