Accounting Services Specialist in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 /year

Lumsden McCormick CPA is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Accounting Services Specialist to join our Outsourced Accounting and Advisory Services team. This position supports our clients by providing day‑to‑day accounting services while partnering closely with our CPAs and internal team members. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter who enjoys client interaction, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred, certification is a plus)
• Knowledge of clerical bookkeeping principles and practices, including processing payroll and reports, general ledger reconciliations, financial statements and the keeping of financial accounts and records
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and client-facing skills

Our office is in downtown Buffalo, NY. This position will have the ability to be hybrid or remote if desired. Salary range is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
