Warehouse Associate in Cheektowaga, NY

Salary Range: $17 - $20/hour

Power-Flo Technologies Buffalo is now hiring a warehouse associate.
• M - F. 7:30 AM - 4 PM.

Warehouse Associate Key Responsibilities:
• Perform basic warehouse work to include, removing sold parts from stock, placing received parts on shelves, processing items for shipment, receiving, driving, organizing etc.
• Pull and stage orders for shipment
• Organize Inventory
• Maintain a clean Driver's License to operate company vehicles as needed (stake truck)
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle
• Plan delivery route to maximize efficiency and productivity for the day
• Obey all traffic laws and parking regulations
• Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver orders
Requirements:
• Warehouse experience- forklift, receiving, and shipping
• Current, valid, and clean NYS driver’s license (7 years' clean driving record) to operate company vehicles
• Ability to obtain & maintain DOT certification
• Ability to follow processes, procedures, and policies
• Ability to work well both independently and on a team
• Ability to communicate in verbal and written from with functional English skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Box Truck (16-18 ft) or Flatbed experience is a plus. No CDL required.
• Forklift experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for up to 8 Hours
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull over 100 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders
• This position may require standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and/or reaching
• You may be exposed to dust, loud noises, and hot and cold conditions
