Speech-Language Pathologist in Friendship, NY

Salary Range: Per FTA Contract

Friendship Central School District has an opening for the following position for the 2026-2027 school year:

Speech-Language Pathologist

Minimum Qualifications: New York State Teacher Certification in the grade level, content, or specialty
area; Speech Pathologist License

This is a professional position involving responsibility for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of language, voice, and speech disorders. The work is performed upon the written order or referral of a physician who provides medical direction. Supervision of others is not normally a function of this position. A Speech Pathologist does related work as required.

Performance Responsibilities- Typical Work Activities:
1. Organize and conduct identification program of students with potential speech/language difficulties.
2. Evaluate speech and language functions.
3. Plan the clinical program for students who have been identified as speech/language impaired, speech impaired, and/or
students having related disabilities with communication needs (i.e. intellectually disabled, autistic, etc.).
4. Implement the clinical program.
5. Comply with state standards, district policies, and ASHA guidelines in the processes of referral, screening, and
placement

Salary per the FTA contract

Include cover letter, resume, transcripts, proof of certification, and three (3) letters of reference.
