Salary Range: $19.00 - $26.00 based on experience

CNC Machinist - First Shift - Lockport, NY - Swiss, Mill, Lath

40 - 45hr / week
$19.00 - $26.00 based on experience

- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts and components
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations.
- Select appropriate tools and materials for each job based on specifications and material properties.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure machines are operating efficiently.
- Conduct quality inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize production efficiency and maintain product quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines, tools, or programming as they arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and reduce production times.
- Document production activities and maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Stay updated with advancements in CNC machining technologies and techniques.

Job Requirements:\
- 3+ Years experience
- Feature CAM or other CAM/CAD software preferred
- Strong time management skills
- Looking for a long-term opportunity
- Has tooling and measuring devices
- Serious candidates will be considered for outside training
- Good attitude and able to work within a team environment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in selecting and installing cutting tools and attachments
- Willing to work overtime and Saturdays if needed
