Housing Construction Specialist in Buffalo , NY

Salary Range: $45,000-$55,000

Housing Construction Specialist: The primary objectives of the position of Housing Construction Specialist are to administer the rehabilitation component of the organization’s housing rehabilitation programs in matters relating to construction, rehabilitation, and interaction with third-party inspectors (e.g., DHCR, HUD). $45-$55K*

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years’ experience, or an associate’s degree plus 4 yrs experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience in housing construction, rehabilitation, or related fields. Basic knowledge of all phases of residential housing building systems (structural, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and the ability to supervise contractors.
