Landscape Crew Member in Tonawanda, NY

Salary Range: $18-$24/hr. based on experience

Napier and Sons - Commercial landscape company responsible for the maintenance of contracted properties including landscape design/installation.
Landscape Crew Member - We are seeking hardworking and reliable Landscape Laborers to join our team.
The ideal candidate will assist in various landscaping tasks and enhancing commercial properties.

Job Duties include but not limited too:
• Mow, trim, and edge lawns using power and hand tools
• Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery
• Spread mulch, soil, and fertilizers as needed
• Install and maintain irrigation systems
• Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
• Assist in hardscape projects (patios, walkways, retaining walls)
• Remove weeds, debris, and other unwanted materials
• Perform general landscape maintenance and cleanup
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines

Looking for:
• Experience and Knowledge of Landscaping- previous experience in landscaping or related fields is highly valued.
• Physical Stamina- Landscaping is often physically demanding, requiring individuals to lift heavy objects, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and stand or kneel for long periods.
• Attention to Detail- Landscaping requires careful attention to ensure plants are well-maintained, lawns are neatly cut, and overall appearance is aesthetically pleasing.
• Ability to Use Tools and Equipment- Knowledge of how to use landscaping tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, and shovels is essential.
• Teamwork and Communication- Since landscaping projects are often team-based, the ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with others.
• Reliability and Punctuality
• Basic Safety Knowledge

Requirements/Qualifications
• transportation to/from shop every morning (7:00am-5:30pm)
• ability to lift 50lbs
• ability to work outdoor in ALL weather conditions
• Drivers License preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions
• ability to work well with a team
