Salary Range: $150,000 – 175,000

The Depew Union Free School District has a total enrollment of approximately 1,923 students and an organizational staff of approximately 350. The district is comprised of one elementary school (UPK - grade 5), one middle school (grades 6 - 8), and one high school (grades 9 - 12). The 2025-2026 budget is $55,451,247.

Major Areas of Responsibility
Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent for Business Operations establishes strategic direction and provides leadership of the financial and business operations as well as the Technology, Facilities, Food Service and Transportation Departments for the Depew Union Free School District. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership that ensures fiscal integrity, equity in resource allocation, and transparent communication with all stakeholders. Major areas of responsibility include the budget finances, auditing, accounting, extra-class funds, purchasing, school lunch, insurance, employee benefits and health insurance, transportation, maintenance of buildings and grounds, capital projects and capital funding, investments, non-instructional personnel, payroll, and collective negotiations.

Qualifications
● Possess a valid NYS Certification as a School District Business Leader (SDBL)
● Master’s degree or higher
● A minimum of 3 to 5 years in education, business management and accounting including experience in a supervisory capacity
