Machine Builder with Spray Painting

SUMMARY
Fits and aligns bearings and shafts, drive transmissions, belts and pulleys, chains and sprockets, and drive gearing including housings. Assembles proprietary machines verify functionality and conformance to customer specifications. Sprays surface of Koike machines maintaining aesthetic requirements with material such as 2-part and DTM paint. Prior to painting, accepts responsibility to prepare the surface for proper adhesion and appearance of paint when painting cycle is complete. When called upon to do so the incumbent utilizes acquired cross-functional training skills to assist and reduce the workload demands of other critical departments.

Must be able to work overtime.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Vocational training, two to three years of actual experience, blue print reading, shop mathematics, machine construction and design, the use of shop measuring instruments, and spray painting. Must be physically capable of occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.

STARTING SALARY
$22-$28 hour depending on experience. Performance evaluations are completed every 90 days and eligible for a pay increase based on performance at 90, 180, 270. The current maximum is $31.50/hour.
