General Production Associate
Pay: From $22.50 per hour

Job description:
Seeking reliable and safe General Production Associates with a positive attitude who can work in a production environment with many moving people, equipment, and parts. Responsibilities will include cross training in various departments which could include Layout, Screen Cloth, Shipping, Assembly, Urethane, and Painting. They will be responsible for executing specific job requirements to meet production schedules and those responsibilities will vary by department but could include and not be limited to any of the following:

• Performing work to meet job specifications
• Following work instructions
• Adhering to all safety regulations
• Cleaning and maintaining all equipment
• Measuring to confirm parts meet specifications
• Checking tolerances and dimensions to ensure quality standards are being met
• Make a positive contribution to maintaining a workplace that is healthy, safe, neat and tidy
• Loading and unloading materials in a safe manner
• Operating various equipment and/or machinery
• Assembly of heavy components using hand tool and power tools
• Reading blueprints to ensure work is being performed to specifications
• Reliability and strong attendance history
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to learn quickly and take direction from leads and supervisors
• Math skills to work with addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals
• Desire to be cross trained in different departments and on different skills
• Teamwork skills
• Positive attitude


Derrick Corporation has a standard work week of 47.5 hours; associates are paid overtime daily for anything over 8 hours.

Full Time, Non-Exempt NIGHT shift 9:00pm – 7:00am Sunday – Thursday

Our manufacturing area is safe, no harsh fumes, loud noises, is very clean and well maintained.
