Microcomputer Specialist in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $25.00/hour plus benefits.

Global Concepts Charter School is seeking a Full Time Microcomputer Specialist to provide technical support and assistance to system users and service personnel, and repair microcomputer equipment.

Responsibilities include:
- Provide Technical Assistance to troubleshoot and resolve user and computer equipment problems as workstations in the school building
- Perform minor computer equipment repairs
- Assist service personnel in installation of hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, etc. following School standards and protocols
- Perform diagnostics to help identify software and hardware faults

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or related technical experience; or applicants at minimum should be seeking a degree in COMPUTER SCIENCE, or MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS. Considerable knowledge of microcomputer software and hardware technology. Strong written and oral communications skills; proven ability to work in teams. Following certifications recommended: Comp TIA+ and / or Cisco CCNA.
$25.00/hour plus benefits.
