Machinist in Arcade, NY

Salary Range: $24.00 - $30.00/hour

Machinist - Full-time 1st shift position.
- The self-motivated candidate performs machine work on CNC Milling, Drilling, Boring Machines and/or CNC lathes.
- Must be able to set machine up and run proficiently upon completed training.
- Be able to edit new and existing programs as needed and actively contribute to quality initiatives to increase productivity and gain efficiencies.
-Candidate must be able to read blue prints, micrometer, calipers and other standard measuring equipment.

Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum of two-year related trade school training and three to five years of job-related experience. Must be physically capable of occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.

Performance evaluations are completed every 90 days and eligible for a pay increase based on performance at 90, 180, 270. The current maximum is $32.50/hour.
