Seeking a Staff Development Coordinator with certification / background in Mathematics 7-12. Additional certification in special education is preferred, but not required. Candidate should be versed in the Next Generation Math Standards and the NYS Numeracy Briefs. Additional skills require knowledge of research-based instructional practices, assessment development, and background in data-informed decision making. Strong communication skills, problem-solving skills, and adult teaching / learning are all an asset. Job requires the delivery of professional development, instructional coaching, lesson modeling. Knowledge and practice with educational technology is essential.

Job Qualifications:
- Must hold valid NYS Teaching Certification in Secondary Mathematics; additional certification in Special Education is preferred.
- At least three years of full-time teaching experience is required.
- Additional skills require knowledge of research-based instructional practices and content delivery on the Next Generation Math Standards, assessment development, and background in data-informed decision process.
- The successful candidate should have strong communication skills, problem solving skills, and can connect and work with adult learners.
- Job will require the delivery of professional development, instructional coaching, modeling, and supporting classroom lesson delivery.
Must have knowledge and practice with technology integration, including educational software products, cloud tools (Google / Microsoft Office), and technology integration into daily lesson plans.
