Welder in Buffalo, NY

To assemble, weld, and fabricate metal products with the highest level of quality and efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of successful experience welding
• Training or equivalent experience with conventional machining, vertical mill, lathe, band saw, etc.
• Welding certification in MIG and TIG to appropriate weld procedures and specifications
• Minimum weld wodes to certify PDI D.1, D1.3, D9.1, D15.1

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Execute assignments as given by the Supervisor or Group Leader
• Immediately inform supervision of all equipment, process, material, safety, and quality concerns
• Follow all work instructions, policies, work rules, safety guidelines, and work procedures
• Meet or exceed all quality and quantity requirements
• Perform MIG and TIG welding including weld prep, cleanup, and fabrication (ex. grinding, tap holes, etc.)
• Operate robotic welder
• Operate mills, lathes, drill press and other powered conventional machines to fabricate products
• Perform required measurements and validation testing of products
• Training other team members as assigned
• Participate in daily housekeeping of assigned areas and other cleanup efforts as assigned
• Participate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer complaint resolution
