KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet guests as they enter attractions and ensure rider requirements are met for each attraction.
Monitor and maintain control over queue areas and towers and safely dispatch riders down waterslides.
Maintain an environment that keeps safety the number one concern for all guests and employees.
Enforce park policy in a manner conducive to being an advocate for the guests, while still adhering to park rules and regulations.
Answer guest questions, give proper guidance and resolve guest concerns.
Attend all mandatory training.
Perform daily opening, operating, and closing procedures.
Adhere to all operating procedures as outlined in the waterpark standard operating procedures for the positions you are staffing. This includes, but is not limited to: completing safety checklists, monitoring waterpark attractions, cleaning waterpark area, immediately addressing any maintenance concerns, and/or stopping operation, if necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Be available to work a 7-hour shift between the hours of 11:30 a.m.– 6:30 p.m.
Able to complete a park-provided first aid and CPR training class.
Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
Able to work outside in varying weather and temperature conditions.
Able to perform the following: frequently – walk, stand, use close/distance/peripheral vision, lift/move up to 10 pounds; occasionally – ascend/descend stairs, work at heights, kneel, bend crawl, lift/move 25-50 pounds.
Able to maintain composure and objectivity during stressful, critical, and emotional incidents.
Have a positive attitude and demeanor at all times.
