Maintains the following farm projects: Track plant or replanting times, design layouts, solves pest and disease problems, fertilizes and amend soil, harvest and repairs irrigation issues.
- Manage service inventory
- Oversee gardening issues
- Prepares weekly harvest for nutrition assistance programs
- Construct hoop houses
- Train staff and volunteers
- Attends staff, service and training meetings as required
High School Diploma/GED. Education in horticulture, crop science, landscaping, farming/Urban agriculture (3 years) experience a plus. Organizational skills and attention to detail is critical. Valid driver’s license with own vehicle required.
Compensation: $14 per hour (part-time 20-25 hrs. per week).
