Technology Teacher in Sanborn, NY

Salary Range: $54,000-$90,000

Orleans Niagara BOCES is looking for an Technology Teacher
The individual will be teaching middle and high school technology in a departmentalized high school to students in programs of special education and alternative education, and a self-contained middle school.
The individual will coordinate and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and goals, and participate in team meetings and group collaboration regarding student needs.
The individual will be responsible for creating lesson plans for instruction to students, which will be followed by assessments.
The individual must possess strong behavior management skills.
An individual must have the ability to work in a collaborative culture and be a teacher leader.
The individual must have the ability to give direction to teacher aides.
The individual should have experience with the ability to teach computer-based technology programs.
The individual must have or be eligible for the appropriate certification upon hire.
Other responsibilities may be assigned.
The assignment is subject to change.
