Anticipated initial assignment is to be at Godfrey Learning Center, Burt, NY.

Anticipated initial assignment is to be at Roy-Hart Learning Center, Gasport, NY.
• The individual shall provide services to students in a 6:1:3 classroom setting for elementary school age students.
• The individual must have knowledge regarding or experience with students with significant emotional and behavioral disabilities, including cognitive delays.
• Strong behavior management and leadership skills, and the ability to modify curriculum to meet students’ needs, are required.
• The individual must be a team player and work collaboratively with support staff.
• The candidate should have experience with behavioral management strategies and the ability to supervise support staff.
• Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training is preferred.
• The individual must have or be eligible for appropriate teaching certification upon hire.
• Regular attendance and dependability are required.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned.
• Assignment is subject to change.
