Special Education Teacher-Integrated Preschool Key Responsibilities:
-Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment to support children’s emotional and social development;
-Plan, deliver, and evaluate instruction for students with IEPs;
-Co-teach alongside a general education preschool teacher;
-Develop and implement IEPs for students with disabilities;
-Assess and recommend appropriate education and behavioral goals & objectives;
-Demonstrate understanding and application of behavior management techniques and supports;
-Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss their child’s progress; and
-Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices
in early childhood education
