Are you looking for a position providing customer service and sales with the ability to learn about window and door applications and components?
The Showroom and Sales Support Specialist will be the first point of contact for Pella-Buffalo showroom customers.
Work schedule will include Monday through Friday and may include occasional or every other Saturdays.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities include the following but not limited to:
• Serve as the first point of contact for the PWD-WNY showroom customer. Responsible for understanding customer’s needs and wants and presenting respective solutions. This person will be responsible for presenting a compelling case for customers to choose Pella.
• Qualifies call-in and walk-in customers to set sales appointments for Outside Sales Representatives.
• Capture traffic leads and appointments.
• Answer phone calls and accurately directs customer calls for both internal and external customers by asking leading questions and pre-qualifying.
• Administers, verifies, and communicates accurate product or customer information by researching needs/questions with customers, Service, Project Coordinators, Outside Sales Representatives and Management.
• Provides administrative support for Outside Sales Representatives and Management.
• Extensive work with Salesforce as related to sales appointments, confirmations, reschedules, and cancellations. Ability to troubleshoot scheduling conflicts or bring them to a supervisors’ attention to streamline opportunities.
• Follow-up calls with homeowners to confirm appointments and project details.
• Become proficient in the use of Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook, all office equipment and processes related to sales operations.
• Prepared to open and close the Buffalo Experience Center as needed.

Education/Experience and Skills:
• Must have High School Diploma or GED. Associate degree (A.A.) preferred.
• One to two years related experience in a customer facing position. Prior knowledge of general construction applications and terminology and/or window and door applications or components is desired but not required. We will train the right individual.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint software.
• Work collaboratively with PWD-WNY Team Members and Customers.
• Energized by meeting and engaging new people. Skilled at relating to and supporting a variety of customers.
• Able to work with details, complexity and follow through.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, responsive to customer needs, willing to be available.
