Sales/Production Assistant in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $24-$26/hour

Sales/Production Assistant

Quermback is a family-owned company established in 1918 in Buffalo, NY. Assistant needed in our OEM Sales Department to assist the Production Department.

Responsibilities:
• Learn about the products and their applications.
• Enter customer orders/pull orders/check orders.
• Create PO’s, follow up on delivery dates.
• Expedite backordered items.
• Visit customers as needed.

Other duties:
• Eventually oversee production department.
• Understand all aspects of the production room.
• Assist with production as needed.
• Follow procedure schedule to ensure products delivered in timely manner.
• Prepared for future projects.

Skills needed:
Computer skills (Spread Sheets, etc.).
Ability to multi-task.
Mechanically inclined.
Steady hands for crimping and cutting wire.
Some tool knowledge.
Ability to read technical drawings.

Education/Experience Preferred:
• Technical experience
• Business background

The position is inhouse, 37 ½ hours/week, Monday-Friday,7:30am-4:00pm. $24-$26/hour depending on experience. Free onsite parking, vacation pay, life insurance, 401(K).
