Responsible for procurement for all programs and insures that procurements are completed with in regulatory guidelines and agency policies and procedures by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Follows agency procurement procedures; prepares requests for proposals and faxes/mails/emails to supplier firms; review purchase requisitions for mathematical accuracy and appropriate signatures, prepares purchase order and sends copy to supplier and department originating request; compiles records of items purchased or transferred between departments, prices, deliveries, and inventories, computes total cost of items purchased, provides tax exemption information where needed; coordinates vendor deliveries and order resolution with sites. Works with Facilities for service contracts. Maintain up-to-date CAO site location addresses and contacts, ability to calculate allocation charges as directed, assist with distribution of supplies as needed.
Maintain procurement files in accordance with agency and funding source requirements; provides records for in-kind goods or services for match requirements; maintains capital asset inventory records and works with Facilities for building related inventory and sites for site related inventory. Keep record of Minority & Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) vendors.
Assists with software data management for purchasing and prepares comparison reports for various business analyses.

EDUCATION AND/ OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum two year degree from college or technical school in business or accounting and one year procurement experience in a grant funded environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
