Salary Range: $18.00-$20.00/ hour depending on experience.

Pediatric Cardiology Associates of WNY is a leading provider of pediatric cardiology care, offering specialized services to children throughout Western New York.

We are looking for a Patient Representative to join our dynamic team and contribute to the excellent care we deliver every day.

Position Overview:
As a Patient Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and their families.
Your primary duties will include managing the check-in and check-out process, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring smooth patient flow within the office.
This is a full-time, in-office position where you will play an integral role in the daily operations of the clinic. $18–$20 per hour (based on experience).

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the initial point of contact for patients and their families, greeting them in a professional, friendly manner
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information to ensure accuracy
• Complete pre-registration with chart preparation to streamline patient visits
• Schedule follow-up appointments and future testing as necessary
• Answer phones, route communications, and provide information as needed
• Document all patient interactions in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in a timely and accurate manner
• Process end-of-day reconciliation for cash and credit card payments
• Perform general office duties such as scanning and filing documents
• Maintain a clean and welcoming patient waiting area
• Assist with any other administrative duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast paced environment
• Comfortable using computer programs and software systems

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in customer service, particularly in healthcare setting
• Knowledge of insurance and medical terminology a plus
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically Medent
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish, Arabic, etc.) are a plus
