Shop Office Coordinator in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $20-$25 per hour based on experience.

HFW Industries, Inc. Buffalo manufacturer of precision industrial equipment for a variety of industries nationwide is seeking a Shop Office Coordinator.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Shop Office Coordinator to support our manufacturing operations.
This role is vital to keeping our shop floor and office running smoothly through accurate recordkeeping, organization, and communication.

What You’ll Do
• Log employees on and off jobs in the computer system with accuracy.
• Maintain employee attendance records in payroll software and on shop boards.
• Keep job files organized in the plant office.
• Assist Plant Supervisors with job scheduling.
• Track and update the lost time board.
• Maintain storeroom inventory and shop supplies; request reorders when needed.
• Prepare purchase requisitions for supervisors and the plant manager.
• Assist plant management with safety and lean initiatives.
• Support the quality department with calibration recordkeeping.

What We’re Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College degree preferred.
• Computer experience (data entry, basic software use).
• Organized, neat, and detail-focused.
• Punctual and reliable with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with shop personnel and supervisors.
