Medical Scribe in Williamsville, NY

Salary Range: $20-$22/hour

Busy private family practice in Williamsville looking for a reliable and hard working, Medical Scribe to assist one primary care physician.

Pay $20-$22/hour. Full Time, 32-hours+/week (4 days (M, T, Th, F), 1 evening/week until 8PM (T).

Rotating Saturday morning (8AM-12PM) from September-May. Approximately one Saturday every six weeks.

Tasks:
• Assist doctor throughout shift
• Primary goal to increase efficiency & productivity
• Allow doctor to focus attention on patient
• Accurately document medical visits
• Document procedures & treatments performed by doctor and/or nurse at visit
• Document any education of risks/benefits
• Physician will dictate: Dx, prescriptions, instructions for patients for self-care or follow up.

Requirements:
• Motivated and self-reliant.
• Teamwork oriented.
• Good knowledge of office operations.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good organizational skills.
• Medent/EMR experience
• Medical office experience

**Medent experience preferred but not mandatory
