Salary Range: $50k - $65k/year
Chautauqua Patrons Insurance Company of Jamestown, NY seeks a Marketing and Communications Coordinator for this mutually-based property & casualty insurance company. Reporting to the EVP/Vice President Marketing, this newly-created position oversees all branding, design and marketing initiatives.Using a consultative approach, the successful candidate will also:
• Schedule agent visits across upstate NY
• Conduct analysis of agent force and report on productivity metrics
• Coordinate, train and mentor newly-appointed agents
• Prepare management and regulatory reports
• Assist with other administrative support
At least a Bachelor’s Degree, plus 3-5 years’ experience in communications/marketing is required. Additional experience working in the insurance industry alongside independent agents is preferred.
Additional competencies include:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Uncanny combination of creative skills and consultative coaching approach
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products
• Experience with visual design and branding
• Ability to prioritize time and projects
• Willingness to travel to appointments
