Maintenance/Event Houseman in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $17.85/hour

Buffalo Convention Center located in downtown Buffalo has openings in the Maintenance/Event houseman department. Person will work as part of a team in the day to day operations of events at the facility during weddings, conferences, and trade shows. Our property features a wide range of events. Duties include setting tables and chairs, installing dance floors, setting up stages, and general building maintenance (empty trash, spot mop). Candidate must be able to routinely lift 50 lbs during an 8 hour shift. Attention to detail is important, neat appearance mandatory, and working well with the public always appreciated. This is a part time job, on call position. Shifts vary week to week from day, to evening, to overnight shifts. Open availability required.
