Machinist in Lockport, NY

Salary Range: $17 to $25

E&R Machine Inc. provides manufacturing services to numerous industries. We are looking for CNC Machinists to join our team in Lockport, NY.

Responsibilities:

Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine correct machining techniques and methods of operation on CNC machines.
Perform machining operations such as milling, drilling, grinding, sawing, turning.
Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
Work overtime as required to meet production needs.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
·Ability to read blueprints and understand specifications.
·Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
·Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.
·Ability to work independently with little supervision.
