Food Program-Delivery Specialist in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $15.00 /hr.

The Food Program Delivery Specialist takes the lead in all things pertaining to delivering quality food services. In addition, they keep an accurate, running inventory of all food and supplies being used by
the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo, ensuring adequate levels of both are available. The delivery specialist must also help to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment at all times.

• Deliver daily meals, snacks and supplies to all BGCB Clubs
• Work closely with other kitchen staff in preparing and serving meals
• Clean and maintain the kitchen environment and equipment to ensure Health Code Standards are being met and inspecting equipment to ensure they are functional
• Maintain accurate assessment of supplies at all club sites
• Assist in other kitchen duties as needed (food prep, cleaning, packing, etc.)

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of experience in a food preparation environment for large groups of people (100+)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prior experience with ordering, inventory and delivery
• Valid NYS Driver’s License for the past 3 years

$15.00 per hour, Full Time with the following benefits available:
