The Facilities Supervisor must be a team oriented individual capable of working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for directing maintenance activities for the organization by performing the following duties personally or with direct reports. The Facilities Supervisor will report directly to the COO. The Facilities Supervisor will have contact with other departments and will be required to communicate with outside technicians to schedule service. General job functions are to assign and supervise machinery maintenance operations efficiently and effectively. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. The position also requires Facilities Supervisor to be on call in case off shift needs assistance.

• Implement operational procedures for activities such as repairs, preventative maintenance, and
keeping inventory current.
• Direct skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities depending upon area of assignment
including performing basic trade activities such as machine repair and machine maintenance.
• Train/teach staff on set up and diagnosing problems.
• Create/maintain work orders in eMaintenance system.
• Maintain logs and records of worked performed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnosis problems with outside technicians.
• Maintain upgrades on all equipment.
• Maintain parts inventory.
• Perform diagnostics on all equipment.
• Perform software troubleshooting and upgrades.
• Respond in case of emergency (Fire or Police alarm).
• Be available by cell phone for off shift calls.
• Inspects physical condition of all equipment.
• Participate in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.
• Computer skills.
• Other duties as assigned

• Knowledge of machine maintenance
• Able to work in fast paced environment
• Valid New York State driver license required
• Skilled use of hand and power tools
• Able to work on ladders and scissor lift
• Work with voltage up to 480volt 3 phase
• Able to work with DC AND PLC SYSTEMS
• Ability to make sound judgments for problem solving and attention to detail
• Fabricating skills a plus
• Able to work in fast paced environment
• Work rotating on call schedule
• Follows all safety and OSHA procedures

• A High School Degree or GED
• Certification from a technical maintenance program
• 5 years of machine maintenance experience
