SaveonSP has an immediate entry-level call center environment opportunity for a Patient Support Representative. This position is primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service and patient support while responding to inquiries for qualifying individuals. This includes providing prompt and courteous service to patients and other health care professionals.

The following represents the scope, attributes, and expectations of the Patient Support Representative for SaveonSP:

Primary Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Take incoming calls from patients, identify and resolve questions or issues that arise
- Provide patient support to answer questions regarding insurance benefit information
- Provide excellent customer service and immediate resolution to inquiries at the point of patient/customer contact. Provide dedicated, personalized support delivered over the phone.
- Contact customer accounts according to call schedule to obtain updated patient information, and verify accuracy of information, as needed
- Create and maintain accurate customer records
- Collaborate with patient and Pharmacy to assist with issues related to payments and reimbursements
- Enroll qualifying patients into appropriate manufacturer copay assistance programs
- Learn, understand and follow all company and client’s policies and procedures
- Understand Medicare Policy and Co-Pay requirements/guidelines
- Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA
- Assist team members/department as needed to meet workflow deadlines and/or complete miscellaneous projects
- Communicate confidently and effectively with peers and all levels of team members within SaveonSP and client organizations
- Identify and pursue personal career development opportunities
- Maintain positive attitude and a helpful approach to patients/customers and clients

Qualifications/Requirements:
-High School Diploma or Equivalent
-3+ years of customer service experience or call center experience
- Must be available to work some evening shifts until 6:00pm and/or 8:00pm

- Ability to work independently
- Basic computer knowledge
- Bilingual applicants a plus
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and be flexible
- Ability to maintain composure on phone when handling customer calls
- Excellent organization skills and detail oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
