CAD Operator in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $50k to $75k and up depending on exp.

Sterling Glass, Inc. is a glass and glazing subcontractor looking to hire a full-time CAD Operator to work directly for in-house Project Managers. Office location 1415 Niagara St, Buffalo NY 14213
Under direct supervision, CAD Operator will be responsible for completing all assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner.

Work to include but not limited to:
- Prepare in AutoCAD drawings for submittal to architect and design teams utilizing manufacturer specific details
- Prepare in AutoCAD drawings for use in shop fabrication
- Work with project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance to project requirements

Requirements:
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to read and comprehend architectural drawings preferred

Other Specifications:
- Ability to learn multiple architectural aluminum systems with on-the-job training
- Ability to multitask and work with others

Salary:
- Salary range is $50k to $75k /year & up based on experience and knowledge

- Knowledge of specific glazing systems is not a requirement. Will train as required.
