Assistant Mechanic in Niagara Falls, NY

Salary Range: $20.00-$25.00/hour

Mark Cerrone, Inc. (a civil/heavy highway construction company) is recruiting for an Assistant Mechanic to provide maintenance support for our fleet of heavy and light duty trucks and heavy construction equipment.

Assistant Mechanic:
Responsible for assisting mechanics in the maintenance and repair of heavy duty equipment, trucks, light trucks and various mechanical attachments. Helps to keep the shop, and
construction yard in a clean, organized, and safe manner. Assists with the inspection of brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts and ensure that
they are in proper operating conditions. Perform routine maintenance which would include but not limited to changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
Repair and maintain tires. At least 2 years of paid work experience as mechanic or mechanic’s helper.

Hourly Pay Range $20.00-$25.00.

Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to and above 30 plus pounds. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe work boots, and hardhats.
