Assistant Director of Nursing: Full-time. Responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing with the operations and programs of the nursing department. Assists in directing, coordinating and supervising all clinical staff. Responsible for monitoring appropriate job performance and completion of evaluations and counseling of staff as directed by the Director of Nursing. Participates in all Resident Care Plan Conferences. Serves on the Quality Assurance committee; coordinates quality improvement teams. Assures that the residents’ rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property and civil rights, including the right to register complaints, are well established and maintained. Engages in studies and investigations related to improving care. Complete all Medicare/HMO assessments. Supervisory experience preferred. Must have current NYS Registered Nurse license.
