Brockport Migrant Education Program - Summer School 6/28/22–7/29/22
SALARY RANGE $24.00/hour _

* Engage students in activities in which they will gain information, develop skills and increase appreciation of art expressions of the ethnic groups of which our student population is representative.
* Select a variety of media in which students may express themselves.
* Encourage gifted/talented students to share their expressions with their peer groups.
* Coordinate the display of art expressions throughout the school.
* Organize an Art-theme day with the classroom teachers and assistants sharing their abilities.
* Cooperate with the staff to organize a culminating activity that is a cultural celebration.
* Participate in pre-service and in-service activities.
* Complete required record-keeping of the program.

* B.S. or B.A. with teaching certification
* Experience teaching art
* Experience working with culturally diverse populations

Preferred Qualifications:
* Bilingual ( Spanish - English)
* Certification in Art Education

* Work site at Barker Elementary School in Barker, NY from 7:45AM – 3:45PM, Monday – Thursday.
