PATH Inc. (People Against Trafficking Humans) is a human service provider and our mission is to address human trafficking through education, prevention and restoration. The PATH Enrichment Center in Buffalo, is a safe place offering support services to adults and youth affected by human trafficking or are at risk addressing the whole person. We are growing and expanding our programs and looking for applicants with a passion for working with those who have been victimized.The Adult Program Social Worker for victim support services will provide individual counseling, intensive case management and client-based advocacy services for clients in our adult program. This position will also work closely with the Executive Director to ensure clients are receiving services vital to the long-term success of those victimized. There is also an opportunity for movement into management roles and supervisory responsibilities.

Role Responsibilities:
-Provide direct services to clients, including intake assessments, counseling support, addressing crisis, safety, and stabilization
-Client-based advocacy services and intensive case management accessing other community resources, linkages, developing and working toward goals
-Includes daily phone call check-ins, advocacy assistance at other providers
-Collaborative care with community partners including law enforcement, court, and agencies to ensure comprehensive services are provided to clients
-Facilitate psycho-educational and therapy groups
-Raise awareness in the community
-Track and input client data used for various grant applications
-Assist with after hours phone
-Transport clients in agency van as needed
-Assist with administrative responsibilities
-Maintain regular case documentation
Qualifications:
-MS/MA in the area of social work, mental health, addictions or human services related field preferred.
-Experience in providing direct services with those who have experienced assault and trauma, trafficking victims or disenfranchised populations preferred.
-Strong project management skills, including the ability to work independently, assess priorities, take initiative, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
-Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability for all work assigned.
-Ability and willingness to be a positive, professional and engaged member of the agency’s team by behaving honestly, responsibly, and respectfully to all (colleagues, community members, agency clients).
-Ability to network and maintain strong relationships with governmental and community partner agencies.
-Comfortable working in faith-based organization.
-Strong documentation skills.
