Job Description:

This position is responsible for HR related responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance

Responsibilities and duties include:
• Recruitment for all personnel, conduct new-employee orientations and onboarding, write and place employment advertisements
• Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis
• Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
• Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed
• Benefits enrollment, changes, terminations, open enrollment
• Maintain and file all personnel records
• Respond to employment verifications
• Conduct employee relations investigations, handle interpersonal issues between employees
• Maintain confidential records, inputting, updating and verifying data, and compile reports from the database
• Track employee leaves including FMLA, disability and worker’s compensation
• Update and maintain employee communication boards, ensures compliance with mandatory employer postings
• Responsible for staying up to date on employment law
• Provide administrative support to the HR department

Ideal candidate will be a self-motivating, detail-oriented individual with a good work ethic. The candidate should be an outgoing team player with an adaptable attitude and good sense of responsibility.
Candidate should be a self-starter, proactively creating projects and conducting research to find answers to questions.
Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2 years HR or HR related experience required. Candidate should possess superior communication skills, excellent attention to detail, organization skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
