COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

Job Description: The communications coordinator is responsible for the overall communications strategy under the guidance of the Director of Membership Development in accordance with The Buffalo Club standards.

Job Requirements:
Communication/ Marketing/ Membership Strategy
- Establishes standards and creates print/ graphic materials for all aspects of the club, including email, new member and prospective member promotional pieces, menus, posters, signage and brochures.
- Establishes the club’s communication/ marketing program to include strategy, content, timing, frequency, target groups to drive additional usage.

Newsletter
- Coordinates writers/ content, designs layout and content, edits and proofreads and submits copy for printing on a timely basis of the monthly newsletter.

Website and App
- Maintains and continuously improves the club’s website, current content, layout/

Social Planner/ Events
- Produces the annual social planner with the assistance of the F&B/ catering departments.
- Must be able to work a flexible shift based on member events that may include early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:
Education: Undergraduate degree in English, Communications, Marketing or Graphic Design highly desired. Proficient with English grammar and possesses the skills in writing, proofreading, and editing to produce professional content.
